Proposal

I am recreating the East Norfolk website to make it more suitable for a primary audience, 15-17 year olds. To do this I have researched some different websites/brands and how they use different ways of advertising to make their brand well known. To fit my website to my primary audience I first needed to create a mood board to show the different types of brands 15 - 17 year olds are interested in; I then used the colours from these websites to create a variety of colours for my own website.
After I picked out the colours I then had to pick the layout and images I used, although I'm changing the website for its primary audience I also need to take into consideration the secondary audience (parents or visitors of EN) to do this I picked the five box layout and kept the image readable and clear. I'm using a pastel style colour for my website so its laid back and not in your face hurting your eyes. To do this I will use hex code colours such as
#EEE5EE and #E5EEE5.

With my new design I aim to make the East Norfolk website more interesting for viewers and hopefully not bore them whilst they read the information. the problem with the current site it is a bit dull and whilst you read there is not much colour or videos, also there is a lot of blank page which could be used to show off more achievements.
The fonts on the page are going to be bold and all block digits as joined up could be hard to read for some people, however the fonts are going to be altered so different points of the page can stand out and also it will make the page look appealing and not dull. For bold fonts I'm going to use Bank Gothic in size 18 as It stands out.
