Distinct (29th September 2016)

This week we had got given a film posted and in pairs had to use DISTINCT to analyse the photo. We then got given some key emotions and had to go around school trying to represent them emotions in a picture.

Media Advertising (13th October 2016)

A media brief is when a client can outline their objectives, target audience(s), budget so for example if they want something made for them, they write what they want in a brief. A client is the person who writes and gives out the brief. Audience engagement is trying to involve a specific target of audience e.g. male/female, age, class. A audience is needed so your brand can become known but to do this you need a specific way for people to remember you brand such a s a logo so when people see your advertising they automatically know the brand is yours.
Types of Audience (13th October 2013)A Primary Audience is a target audience (the audience we must attract). A Secondary Audience is other people who the product could appeal to. Demographics mean gender, age, class (ways of categorising an audience.

Typography (19th October 2016)Some fonts are websafe fonts and can be accessed by certain webpages so that they always display the same font and there are no substitutions.
Serif (with serifs on the letters)
Sans serif (without serifs, believed to be easier to read)
Monospace (equal space given to letters)
Graphics (when letters are saved as an image file so it always appears the same)
If the website does not access these fonts then the text wont be seen the same or might have boxes around them if the image doesn't load.

Website Design (10th November 2016)

In our lessons we have been study website layouts. Learning about website layouts/designs has been able to help me plan out my own East Norfolk website. To do this I picked out two pages from the East Norfolk webpage, I picked the home page and the courses page, then taking into consideration the websites that I had been researching I made my own website that can be more appropriate for the primary audience.

Website Ideas 21st November 2016)


This week I have started to create the basic layout for my East Norfolk website.
I'm going to make my theme a variety of colours so it is targeted for everyone. I'm going to add less writing and more pictures as pictures stand out more and can have a lot of meaning. I'm changing the logo slightly adding a colour over the white to make it look less dull. The colours on my website are a variation so it appeals to both genders however isn't to bright and bold to look kid like.
