Photoshop Evaluation

What is Photoshop and why is it used in the creative industry?
Photoshop is used to create two types of images and combine them into one without the impression of two photos becoming one. Using it in the creative industry gives a sharper and clear image.
What were the two tasks set?
The first task was to create a new film poster by taking out the characters photo and inserting it into a new background. The second task was to use airbrush.
How well do you feel you used Photoshop?
I found Photoshop really difficult and it would not be my first choice to use again.
What did you like most about using Photoshop?
I didn't feel confident using Photoshop as it is the first time I've used it.
Were you happy with your finished product?
I think if Photoshopping was easier I would have done a much better product but as it was so difficult I found it very hard to get into it and enjoy in therefore rushed my design.
What was your favourite tool to use on Photoshop?
I liked cutting the image as it was the only part that was easy to do after spending a while trying to figure it out.
What did you find most difficult?
I found the majority of Photoshop difficult, as I haven't used it before, once I get the hang of it I might enjoy it more but understanding it is really complicated.
Is there anything you need more time on/help with?
I feel Photoshop would take me a while to do, all I need is some practice.
Why is Photoshop useful?
Photoshop is useful for films as they can edit parts out they wouldn't want in there smoothly, having a photo that can fit into another photo discreetly can make posters and product more professional and attract more attention.
